“The Carl Sagan of the 21st century.” TIME magazine

Neil deGrasse Tyson is a rare breed of astrophysicist: one who speaks as easily and brilliantly with the public as with professional scientists. His popular books (including New York Times best-seller, Death by Black Hole), NOVA specials and StarTalk radio show have won him a fervent fan base among science novices and die-hards alike. Renowned for his fresh voice, trademark humor and canny insights, he is director of the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. Tyson will appear in the hotly anticipated sequel to Carl Sagan’s landmark TV series, COSMOS, on FOX in 2013.

Supported by the Harold & Hester Schoen Arts & Lectures Endowment.

Available on the Word of Mouth series
