Due to Fiesta, there will be no August 1screening at the SB Courthouse.

A shy, stuttering bachelor named Harold (none other than Harold Lloyd) pens The Secret of Making Love, a guidebook for other bashful young men. While trying to get it published in the big city, he falls for a lovely girl, but more than a few obstacles lie in their path – namely, her impending marriage to a roguish fellow. Can Harold stop the wedding before it’s too late? This riotous comedy features one of the most famous daredevil chase scenes in movie history, using nearly every mode of transportation known to humankind. (Fred Newmeyer and Sam Taylor, 1924, 87 min.)

All films are FREE and screened in digital format. Films presented by UCSB Arts & Lectures, Santa Barbara County Arts Commission, Santa Barbara County Park Foundation, and the Community Services Department of Santa Barbara County. With support from the UCSB Summer Cultural and Enrichment Program and the Freshman Summer Start Program.
